BFPO

The British Forces Post Office (BFPO) provides a postal service to HM Forces.

The details required for a BFPO address are:

  • First name: which should be the service number and rank.

  • Last name: which should be the customer’s first and last name.

  • Address Line 1: which should be the unit/regiment.

  • Address Line 2: which should be the Operation name

  • City: e.g London

  • State/Province: e.g. London

  • Postcode: which should be the BFPO number

  • Country: e.g United Kingdom

It is suggested to check with the consumer onboarding team because PCL requires the UK addresses in order to carry out the necessary checks.

After the checks have been done, the customer may then have the BFPO address on the agreement for correspondence purposes.

The list of BFPO locations can be accessed on the gov.uk website.
